The verdict?
Finding Skechers Go Walk at a reasonable price can be difficult – the prices charged in most shoe stores are much more than they charge for the exact same shoes online. What’s so great about the Skechers Go Walk?
The Skechers Go Walk is a product of Skechers performance division. A lightweight slip-on sneaker, the Go Walk is designed to provide comfort and support for everyday wearing and light exercise. Unlike it’s running-focused sister – the Skechers GO Run, the Go Walk doesn’t feature the GO Run’s ‘rocking bump’ in the midfoot of the shoe – making it suitable as a casual shoe as well as walking.
Designed to be very lightweight (a size 7 shoe weighs just 110 grams!), the Go Walk achieves this through use of a seamless synthetic upper that has an area of stretch fabric in the centre. This also makes the Go Walk very easy to slip on, as does the addition of a pull loop on the heel of the shoe. The Go Walk range feature a liner that is highly contoured meaning they could comfortably be worn barefoot. They also use an integrated anti-microbial liner that assists in preventing your shoes smelling.
The Go Walk has a rounded toe area providing ample room for toes to spread out, so they are a good option for anyone with wide feet.
The sole is designed to flex and twist to let your foot move in a natural range of motion. While lightweight the sole still provides good cushioning making them suitable for a range of activities from casual use to walking and jogging.
An added bonus of the Go Walk is that the use of ultralight synthetic materials means they are easily washable.
